This is a complete list of all my favorite products that I would buy over and over again. Whether you’re looking for skincare, makeup, or blogging recommendations, these are my go-to products that I recommend to everyone.
My Favorite Beauty Products:
1. Sonia Kashuk Essential Wide Eyeshadow Brush
If you’re going to buy an eyeshadow brush, make it this one!
Seriously, I’ve had this brush for TWO years, and it’s still good as new. This eyeshadow brush blends in the crease, pats down glitter and can diffuse makeup really well.
I highly recommend buying this brush if you’re looking for a new go-to eyeshadow brush(plus, it’s only $6)!
2. CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion
This is a recent favorite of mine, but it has seriously changed the game for me.
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect moisturizer that was lightweight, hydrating, unscented and affordable. After much searching, I found this product. Formulated with niacinamide and ceramides, this product is perfect for all skin types.
3. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush
This was one of the very first makeup products I ever owned and I still love this!
I love this because it blends easily, is flattering on many skin tones, and is one of the cheaper products at Sephora.
It also makes your skin look more alive and cute 🙂
4. Anomaly Clarifying Shampoo
I know I don’t really talk about hair care here on AHA, but I wanted to share something that has seriously helped my dry scalp.
The queen herself, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, now has her own hair care brand…and I LOVE IT. This eco-friendly and charcoal-infused shampoo has helped my dry scalp issues.
Plus, it’s less than $6!!!
5. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
I recently received as a free birthday present from Sephora themselves and I’m now obsessed.
My lips have never been softer, smoother, and more hydrated. I just apply this at night and the next day, my lips feel great!
You can also put this on during the day to add a little shine to your lips and give off that “no makeup makeup” vibe.
6. Google
Okay, this is more like a tool than anything, but I swear by this.
Google is a crucial source for finding about all things lifestyle, health and beauty, from product reviews to hacks and more!
For example, you’re able to view this site through Google! 🙂
My Favorite Blogging Products:
I started my blog in August 2020, and it’s seriously one of the best decisions I’ve made. As of summer 2021, I’m working on taking my blog to the next level and I can’t wait to see what happens.
These are some of the resources that I use that I SWEAR by 🙂
1. WordPress
I run my blog through a self-hosted WordPress website, and it’s (in my opinion) the best way to go!
I originally started designing The Anagha Edit on Wix (a free website host like Squarespace and Blogger) but I DON’T recommend doing this. Having a self-hosted website is more professional, and WordPress knows how to get the job done!
2. Bluehost
Starting a blog costs money. If you’re looking to save some dough in the beginning, then I recommend going with Bluehost in the beginning as your website host(and my personal host)! As of right now, I pay less than $4 a month for hosting and it’s seriously one of the best and most affordable hosts out there.
A blogger I follow, Sophie Zang from By Sophia Lee (more on her course below), described Bluehost as the Walmart of hosting: affordable, basic, and gets the job done.
3. Studio Mommy
When I first started my blog, I designed it myself.Â
Well, I am NOT a website designer, so you can imagine that it didn’t look great. That’s why I decided to buy a website theme to make The Anagha Edit look more professional, clean and inviting to the user(plus, ad friendly)!
Studio Mommy has some of the most affordable and beautiful themes I’ve seen. I personally purchased the Kylee More theme while it was on sale for $11…I KNOW RIGHT!!
4. ConvertKit
ConvertKit is what I currently use to send my email list emails.
As of right now, I get ConvertKit for free, but once I start having to pay for it(when I get more subscribers so hopefully soon), I’ll be spending a decent amount of dough.
But, all the super successful blogger SWEAR by ConvertKit for their email lists, soooo we’ll see how it goes 😉
5. Pinterest
This is one of the most important things you need for blogging.
Pinterest is currently the #1 source of my blogging traffic, and I LOVE it. It’s a great way to promote blog posts, and it’s the only search engine/social media that is good for this purpose.
6. Perfecting Blogging
Last, but definitely not least, the item I think EVERYONE should buy when they first start their blog.
Blogging courses are huge to growing your blog into something big. Sophie Zang of By Sophia Lee came out with her blogging course that goes over EVERYTHING she does on her blog from her SEO strategy to how she writes her posts.
I just finished the course and I’m so ready to grow my blog!!! I highly recommend checking this course out.
