Dear reader,
I never thought this day would come. While I always hoped I would have my blog for a really long time, I still wasn’t sure if I was gonna be able to do it. My blog’s anniversary is on the 23rd, but I honestly needed a couple more days to really think about what I wanted to say and make it mean something.
Here we are, 3 years later from that day in 2020 when I launched this blog with some really big dreams about what this could become.
However, those dreams have slightly changed, or rather, the motivation behind them has.
I started this blog when I was 14 years old(I know, a literal child ;)), and now I’m less than a year away from becoming an adult. I’ve changed so much as a person, and so have my dreams and the wishes that fueled them. To be honest, these past 3 years, many bloggers I looked up to were the inspiration behind my dreams. Anytime I did or didn’t hit a milestone, I’d immediately compare myself to another blogger I followed or took courses from, thinking about how to do better the next time.
As you can imagine, it gets tiring to constantly do that. The amount of pressure I put on myself to try and succeed with this blog is crazy and looking back on it I feel bad for my younger self for doing that.
The point that I’m trying to make here is that don’t let your dreams become something that keep you stagnant or shackled down: they’re meant to evolve along with you! I never ever want this blog to become something unenjoyable because honestly, it’s one of my greatest passions.
With that being said, my goals for year 4 are a lot humbler and more realistic than past years. This year, I really want to maintain a consistent posting schedule (at least 2 times a week) and have time to experiment with new content strategies. Last year, I was so so busy with other responsibilities that I pushed The Anagha Edit to the back burner (no longer gonna do that)!!
I also want to be proud of myself and what I’ve accomplished over these past 3 years, including the rebrand of this website from Ana Health Avenue to The Anagha Edit. It’s honestly been a long time coming, and I’m so happy that I did it sooner than later.
Last but not least, I want to tell more people about this blog. Like I said, I want to be proud of myself and everything that’s transpired so far. I have a picture on my vision board which says “I Am So Proud Of You”, a message I desperately needed a constant reminder of. And thankfully, I think I’m getting to that point where I believe it 🙂
Before I sign off, I have one last thing to say…thank you. Thank you for reading this blog post and possibly others. Thank you for subscribing and checking out the Pinterest account, for taking some time out of your day to check out my lil’ corner of the Internet. It truly means the world to me that there are actually people out there who’d read what I have to say, and I hope you know how grateful I am for you.
And now, I’m saying bye to year 3 and hello to year 4. I can’t wait to see what it brings.
Xx,
Anagha
