Dear reader,
Here we are again with another birthday post for my passion project. I feel emotional typing this for some reason because the person I was when I started this blog and the person I am today are worlds apart (trust me, that’s a good thing).
I’m writing this post the day I’m publishing it, and I realize that no one knows just how important this day is to me. Two years ago today, I made a decision that was super scary and that I wasn’t completely sure about. Even though I had been deliberating and planning for the entire summer prior, I wasn’t the type of person to initiate something as bold as this.
But I did it.
And it’s definitely been an interesting journey. While I have grown from where I was last year, it’s still not where I want to be. This past year, I’ve really been beating myself up over it. However, I know that I’ve not been able to put in the effort that this brand deserves (cause life happens, you know?) and I think I’m finally ready to take that jump.
I know now that my first birthday post was overly optimistic, but that naive optimism has now been replaced with a deeper understanding of what needs to happen to take AHA to where I want it to go.
But before I talk about my goals, hopes, and dreams for this year, I have to thank the people who have read my posts, pinned my pins, and subscribed to my emails. It means the world to me 🙂
But let’s talk about year 3.
I think I’m ready.
And I know that I’m making this sound extremely serious lol, but I finally believe that I’m ready to take Ana Health Avenue from a hobby blog to an actual business, a source for all things health, beauty, and lifestyle! I still want to get into Mediavine monetize my blog and take courses! Hopefully this September, I’ll be able to buy Perfecting Pinterest by By Sophia Lee and level up my Pinterest game.
By the end of year 3, I would love to proudly say that my blog is a money-making machine which people love to go to to read my content. While it’s easier said than done, I truly believe in AHA’s ability to grow and develop.
As of writing this, I’m approximately 2 months behind on blog posts: I know that it’s not the best way to start this 3rd year of my blog, but it can’t always be perfect. 🙂
I have a quote on my vision board this year which says, “You can do anything, but not everything”. This quote is the reason why I wasn’t able to uplevel my blog this year: I decided to spread myself too thin and it hurt AHA’s growth. This year, I’m not going to make the same mistake.
Behind the scenes, I’ve been preparing my life schedule to accommodate more time for AHA, and I’m hoping that this move is what my blog needs to get a jump start! Thank you so much for reading this blog post; I know that I’ve rambled, but I want to someday look back at these posts and laugh (maybe also cry in tears of happiness lol).
Be sure to subscribe to Ana Health Avenue and follow me on Pinterest! I’m going to get back to my regular schedule and trust me, you don’t wanna miss it 😉
And now, I’m saying bye to year 2 and hello to year 3. I can’t wait to see what it brings.
Xx,
Anagha
