Stunning Graduation Makeup Looks:
1. A Classic Look
You can never go wrong with a classic! I absolutely love this makeup look because it’s timeless, classy, and a go-to if you’re not super comfortable with doing makeup! In my opinion, all you need for this look is a fresh base, defined brows, a slightly smoky eye, and a neutral lip! You can spice it up a bit more with fun blush and highlight
2. Rep the School Colors
This is a super fun =look to do, especially if you’re into doing makeup! You can incorporate your school colors into your eyeshadow, blush, and lip colors! For example, my high school colors were red and gold, so I could’ve done a darker red lip with gold eyeshadow and highlight!
Definitely take the time to explore and experiment with this graduation makeup look so it still looks put together for your big day!
3. Glowy Makeup
This is another staple makeup idea you can’t go wrong with. If you want to be glowing at your graduation, be sure to emphasize the high points of your face with highlight (cheekbones, tip of your nose, brow bone, cupid’s bow). Depending on your skin tone, I recommend choosing either a warm or cool toned highlight!
PRO TIP: be sure to set this makeup look (and the others) with powder or setting spray so it’s even more long-lasting!
4. Bold Lip
This is for the girls who want to add a lil’ spice to their graduation makeup look. This makeup idea exudes confidence and class, so if that’s your vibe for this event, definitely check this one out! While everyone thinks a bold lip automatically means a red lip, that definitely doesn’t have to be the case! Depending on your undertones, a deeper burgundy or mauve color may suit you better.
Take the time to explore different lip colors and find your staple bold lip color!
5. Cat Eye
This is for the girls looking to add some flair to their graduation makeup look. I love a good cat eye because it can really uplevel a makeup look without doing too much. Whether you use liquid liner, a pencil, or eyeshadow, a subtle but defined cat eye adds another dimension to your makeup look!
PRO TIP: to get that defined cat eye, dot out the path you want to take your liner across, then basically trace the dots! This takes a lot of the guess work out of it (P.S. it’s okay if they’re sisters and not twins lol)
6. Less Is More
For my graduation day, I decided to go with the “less is more” makeup approach. I live in Texas and my graduation was end of May, so it was super hot and humid the day of. I knew this makeup idea would be perfect because I wanted my makeup to last and still look natural throughout. If you’re someone who is looking for a quick look that enhances your natural beauty, this is the one for you!
I personally kept it simple with concealer, blush, highlight, eyeshadow, mascara, and lipstick!
7. Glitter!
Who doesn’t love a little bit of glitter?! Whether it’s on the eyelids or the cheekbones (or both), this is a surefire way to add some pizazz to your makeup look.
I recommend coordinating the color of your glitter to other aspects of your makeup like blush and lipstick for a more cohesive look
8. All Matte
Last but definitely not least, we have the all matte look! This one is perfect for the minimalist girls who still want to look glammed up. Another benefit of this makeup look is that it’s super long lasting! To make this look happen, use powder to set your face makeup and a matte lipstick to top it all off!
And that’s a wrap! Thank you so much for reading, and I hope that you have all the graduation makeup inspo you need for your big day! Have fun and congrats in advance! <3
