9 Easy Makeup Looks:
1. “No Makeup” Makeup
“No makeup” makeup is the best look to do on an everyday basis: it’s clean, simple, and effortless. I achieve this look by using tinted SPF, spot concealing, powder, blush, mascara, and lip gloss.
This makeup look is great because you can literally do it in less than 5 minutes, making it perfect for those busy mornings!
2. A Classic Red Lip
You can never go wrong with a classic red lip. This takes less than a minute to do but instantly adds an “it girl” feel to your makeup look! This is one of my favorite makeup looks to do when I have a night out on the town.
3. Blush Blindness…But Make It Cute
Blush blindness is currently going around on social media, and I wanted to do my own take on it. I love a good blush moment as long as it still complements your overall makeup look! By using a liquid or cream blush, you can achieve a strong blush look that also looks natural!
When applying blush, be sure to apply to the higher part of the apples of your cheeks: this will ensure your blush placement doesn’t drag your face down!
4. Glittery Eye Makeup
This is one of the makeup looks I constantly do. I love adding glitter to my eye makeup looks because it’s so effortless, and plus, who doesn’t love glitter?
5. Hollywood Makeup
This is one of my all time favorite makeup looks: it’s glamorous, beautiful, and easy to do! Hollywood makeup is mainly classified by two characteristics: a cat eye and a bold lip. I personally love a good black eyeliner moment paired with a statement red lip!
6. Lash Extravaganza
Having statement eyelashes is such an easy makeup look to achieve. Whether you use false lashes or just mascara, add extra volume to your eyelashes to get that wow factor!
7. Daytime Smoky Eye
While I love a good smoky eye, it’s not exactly the easiest makeup look to accomplish. That’s why I love what’s called the “daytime smoky eye”. In essence, it’s basically a less intense smoky eye. You still have that beautiful color gradient going across the eyelid, but you make it less dramatic by using lighter eyeshadow colors (like cream and chocolate brown).
With a smoky eye, you go from lightest to darkest shade (from your inner corner to outer eyelid).
8. Highlight, Highlight, Highlight
Highlight is a really easy way to uplevel your makeup look. While you don’t want to go overboard, adding that extra hit of shine adds more depth to the face and catches people’s attention.
To be cohesive, apply highlighter to your cheekbones and a smidge on the tip of your nose. If you’re wearing a more low-cut top, apply highlighter to your collarbones: it makes all the difference!
9. Monochromatic Makeup
Last but not least, monochromatic makeup! This look consists of blush, eye makeup, and lip color all being the same or similar in shade. For example, if I did a peachy lip color, I’d complement it with a peachy blush and eyeshadow combo!
This makeup look creates cohesiveness and makes it look like you spent a ton of time creating a beautiful makeup look (when you actually spent almost no time at all)!
