Looking for bridesmaid makeup inspo? Then this blog post is for you!
Being a bridesmaid can be so much fun. I was a bridesmaid last summer at my cousin’s wedding, and I had the time of my life lol. There were so many events in her wedding that I ended up experimenting with a lot of different makeup styles and ideas that I thought I’d share today!
In this blog post, I’m sharing some amazing bridesmaid makeup inspo that you need to know about. If you’re a bridesmaid or future bride looking for makeup look ideas for the big day, this is the post for you.

Bridesmaid Makeup Ideas:
1. A Classic Smokey Eye
This is a classic special occasion makeup look idea, not just for weddings. If you want to do a smokey eye for your bridesmaids for an evening wedding, I’d recommend using colors like black, dark brown, and beige.
If you want to do a smoky eye for a daytime wedding, use colors like light brown, beige, and a dark brown for definition!
2. A Sharp Cat Eye
Who doesn’t love a good cat eye? This look is so elegant and can be perfect for a more dramatic makeup look.
However, you can also soften it up and make it a more natural cat eye by softening the sharpness of the extended line and using a lighter color than black (a light brown would work great)!
At the end of the day, though, for a classic cat eye look, I’d recommend using a black liquid eyeliner to get the job done.
3. Bronze Up The Look
This idea is perfect for a wedding locale which is sunny/tropical. Add on the bronze with either a powder product or even bronzing drops that you can add into your foundation!
4. Full Glam!
This is for the glamorous wedding: you can never go wrong with full glam, and depending on your wedding vibe, a full glam makeup look for the bridesmaids can be a great idea!
5. No-Makeup Makeup
This is for the minimalist wedding makeup look. One benefit of this makeup look is that it can be adapted to look good on everyone. No-makeup makeup is the perfect idea to show off the natural beauty of your bridesmaids!
To achieve this idea, I’d recommend using a CC cream, bronzer/contour, powder, blush, highlight, mascara, brow pomade, and a natural lip color!
6. A Statement Lip
I absolutely love a statement lip look for fall or winter: in my humble opinion, the best statement lip color for a bridesmaid is red, whether it be a bright red or a dark maroon.
These colors are so classy and can tie beautifully into a outfit and wedding color scheme!
7. A Glowy Look
This makeup look idea is perfect for a summer wedding. You can achieve this type of makeup look by layering on the highlight, going for a glowier foundation, and adding a lip gloss (more on that in the next idea)!
8. Time For A Glossy Lip
I love love love gloss, and I think you can never go wrong with it! If your bridesmaids are going for a more glowy makeup look, a glossy lip look could be perfect.
When choosing the perfect lip gloss, decide if you want a clear lip gloss or a tinted one to layer on top of your base lip color.
9. Use A Nude Lipstick
This is for the more subtle bridesmaid look: a nude lip is a great way to finish off a makeup look without being too boring! To spice up the nude lipstick, check out different finishes of lip products to add an exciting element (like gloss, velvet, satin, etc.).
10. Glittery Eyeshadow
A wedding can be the perfect time to experiment with glitter (of course in your makeup trials to see if it works for you)!
Glitter on the eyelids is a great way to spice up your makeup look, and depending on the bridesmaids’ outfits, they can wear glitter eyeshadow that matches!
11. Gold-Inspired Makeup Look
Who doesn’t love gold? Depending on your color scheme and your bridesmaids’ skin tones, a gold-centric makeup look could be perfect for the bridesmaids.
To tie in gold, use products like highlight, eyeshadow, and lip gloss to add that gold element. While it doesn’t have to be over the top, incorporating gold can add a little extra sparkle to the bridesmaids’ makeup looks.
12. Smoke Up The Lash Line
This idea would be perfect for an evening wedding (especially if you’re using darker eyeshadow colors). To execute this makeup idea, take a small makeup brush with a darker color in your eyeshadow look and smudge it along your lower lash line. This adds a dramatic flair to your look and also definition to your eye!
13. Full Force With Lashes
Lashes can definitely pull a makeup look together, and it could be the final step for a bridesmaid makeup look. Whether you want to use falsies or just plain mascara, definitely try seeing if lashes would work for your bridesmaid makeup looks!
14. Blush Toned Makeup
I feel like blush is a staple color in so many wedding color schemes, so basing the bridesmaid makeup looks around this color could be the perfect idea for you. While obviously your blush color in this case would be a pink, you could also carry this pink color in your highlighter, eyeshadow, and lipstick/gloss!
This idea would be absolutely beautiful in the spring or summer!
15. Monochromatic Makeup
I love a good monochrome moment, and a bridesmaid makeup look can be the perfect place to do it. For a monochrome makeup look, I’d recommend doing the same color for blush, highlight, eyeshadow, and lipstick!
If done right, this is a beautiful makeup look, especially for pastel colors like baby pink!
16. Match Bridal & Bridesmaid Makeup
This is for the bride/bridal party who wanna do matching to the max. While I don’t recommend the bridesmaids having the same exact makeup looks as the bride, matching blush, highlight, and eyeshadow looks/colors is an amazing way to pull together the entire vision!
17. Match Bridesmaids’ Makeup With Their Outfits
I absolutely love matching things, so this idea is definitely something I’d incorporate in my future wedding lol. Depending on the colors in the bridesmaids’ outfits/accessories, you can match certain makeup aspects to them, such as blush, eyeshadow, highlight, and lipstick!
This can be a great way to create a cohesive look not just amongst all the bridesmaids but also in their own individual looks.
