You’re going to learn about the best skincare products for acne that are formulated with amazing ingredients like salicylic and hyaluronic acid so you can have happy and healthy skin!
Best Skincare Products For Acne:
1. Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser
I started using this cleanser at least 6 months ago and it’s truly a game changer. Formulated with ceramides, niacinamide(which helps with skin oiliness), and hyaluronic acid(which hydrates the skin), this effectively cleanses the skin without stripping it of its natural moisture.

Oiliness can cause clogged pores which causes breakouts. However overly stripping the skin causes the skin to produce more oil, which leads to…
you guessed: breakouts 🙁
This cleanser is the perfect balance: it gets rid of the oil and cleans your skin but doesn’t strip it. I personally use it 2-3 times a day because I have really oily skin.
2. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask
I admit that I first thought this product was just another over-hyped one day wonder. But, after closer inspection, I ended up buying this product and LOVING IT. Formulated with bentonite clay, it’s a deep pore cleansing, detox clay mask. You can use it on your face and/or body along with apple cider vinegar.
PRO TIP: if you have sensitive skin, mix this mask with water instead of apple cider vinegar; it’ll give you the benefits without irritating your skin.
Only use this mask once a week…it’s really strong. But trust me, it really gets down to your pores and cleanses.
3. Selfless by Hyram Salicylic Acid & Sea Kelp Pore Clearing & Oil Control Serum
Selfless by Hyram is skinfluencer Hyram Yarbro’s latest skincare launch. Formulated with Mother Nature in mind, this Sephora brand is truly the real deal.
This is probably one of my favorite products from the brand: this pore clearing/oil control serum is good for people who have problems with acne/blemishes, pores and overly oily skin(this is basically me lol).

Formulated with salicylic acid, niacinamide and sea kelp, this product will help you get clear skin.
4. Selfless by Hyram Retinol & Rainbow Algae Repair Serum
This is another Selfless product recommendation. This retinol serum is not just good for breakouts, but for the marks they leave behind. This type of a serum helps reduce the appearance of dark spots, acne scars and overall discoloration on the skin.
DISCLAIMER: using retinol is a tricky game. For this specific product, start off with a couple times a week, and slowly work up to every other night if your skin can handle it. If you use multiple serums, alternate them. Only use this product in the nighttime and follow up with your favorite moisturizer. And remember, be sure to use sunscreen during the daytime so your skin doesn’t become too sensitive!!!
5. Honest Beauty Hydrogel Cream
Honest Beauty, founded by Jessica Alba, is basically the pioneer of clean beauty. This product is one of my favorites from the brand.
If you don’t know what a hydrogel cream is, it’s a cream that has a water base. This means that it’s going to be super light on the skin but still be super moisturizing. This product is amazing for all skin types, but especially oily skin, since it’s not going to make your skin feel greasy(like many moisturizers do).
MYTH DEBUNKED: even if you have oily skin, you NEED TO MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN!!! Your skin produces even more oil when it’s deprived of moisture(trust me, it’s a very vicious cycle).
6. Cerave Unscented Daily Moisturizing Lotion
If you want a more affordable moisturizer, this product is for you. I personally use this, and it’s super lightweight but still moisturizes my skin!
This is also a great body lotion because acne doesn’t just appear on your face(cue the backne).
7. Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Invisible Acne Patches
And last but not least, if one of those pesky pimples does show up, then this product is definitely for you.
DISCLAIMER: this product will only work for whiteheads, not cystic pimples!
This affordable product is an easy way to get rid of pimples overnight. Which reminds me, I need to restock on this ASAP!
