8 Amazing Makeup Products For Natural Look:
1. CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
To have a good makeup look, the base has to be really solid. I believe skincare prep is such an important part of a makeup look, especially for a natural makeup look.
I recommend choosing a hydrating moisturizer to prepare your skin for all the products you’re going to put on your face.
I love the CeraVe PM moisturizer because it has a really light consistency (which makes it a perfect primer for makeup) and it’s really affordable! I personally use this both in the morning and night, even though it’s a “PM” moisturizer.
The best moisturizer to serve as a primer for your makeup:
2. Elta MD Tinted Sunscreen
Sun protection is an absolute must regardless of whether or not you’re wearing makeup. For a natural makeup, I don’t use foundation but instead go for some sort of tinted base product, such as a tinted sunscreen.
I’ve tested countless sunscreens and have determined the best one is Elta MD’s tinted SPF 46 sunscreen. It leaves absolutely no white cast, has a great texture, and seamlessly blends into the skin (plus it’s acne-friendly)!
The best tinted sunscreen to serve as foundation and sun protection:
3. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
This step is optional, but if you want to spot conceal, I have the perfect recommendation for you. This concealer blends into the skin so well and has a very extensive shade range! I personally conceal blemishes or spots on the face where I want it to be a bit brighter! This concealer is super long-lasting, so I have the mini version (this also makes it cheaper)!
The best natural concealer:
4. Maybelline Fit Me Powder
If you have oilier skin, this makeup product for you. This drugstore powder has a really natural finish and does a great job at keeping your makeup shine-free (speaking from personal experience lol)!
It comes in a ton of shades and applying it all over your face will ensure your hard work will not go to waste!
PRO TIP: apply this on your neck as well to establish continuity from your face to neck! It makes things look more seamless 🙂
An amazing setting powder:
5. Rare Beauty Liquid Blush
If you’re in search of a natural blush, this is the product for you. I love liquid blush because it looks so realistic. It provides a natural flush to the skin and restores life to it after applying all those base makeup products.
This one by Rare Beauty is a cult-favorite product: since a little goes a long way, you can definitely get away with purchasing the mini version!
An incredibly natural liquid blush:
6. Elf Eyebrow Pencil
This makeup product is for my sparse eyebrow girlies. Eyebrows are such an underrated part of a makeup look which I feel many people overlook. But in fact, they structure your face in an important way, so having defined but still natural brows is a must!
This e.l.f. brow pencil is so affordable and provides a natural finish! Gone are the days of blocky brows and in are the days of natural brow beauty!
Buy this if you want natural brows:
7. L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara
I’ve been using this mascara for 5 years now, and I still stand by it. If you want beautifully lifted and full eyelashes, this is the product for you.
Notice that I didn’t include eyeshadow on this essentials list: while it’s an amazing makeup step, I believe a natural eye makeup look really only needs mascara!
My favorite mascara for a natural makeup look:
8. Tinted Lip Gloss
And last but definitely not least, lip gloss! This is the cherry on top of the cake, the piece de resistance. I recommend finding an everyday gloss that complements your skin tone/undertone. This will really lock in your makeup look and make it look absolutely stunning!
A great drugstore lip gloss:
