These are my goals for 2021 and how I plan to achieve them!
By: Anagha Sreenivasan
Heyyy guys, and welcome to this blog post! First of all, I just want to say… HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I cannot believe that 2020 is almost over, and as the year is ending, I’ve been thinking about what I want to accomplish in 2021 and I realized…a lot of you guys are probably also thinking about that as well!
Sooo, I thought I’d write a blog post about my personal(and professional) goals for 2021, as well as some tips on how to set and achieve your goals!

My Goals
My goals are split into two categories: personal and professional(basically goals for my blog). Below are my goals for 2021!
Personal
- lead a healthier lifestyle(eating better, working out more)
- stop biting my nails once and for all(if you’d like a blog post on that, let me know!)
- do a wardrobe makeover(really perfect my style)
- donate to charity/spend more time on charitable things(volunteer work, monetary donations)
- do a better job of keeping in touch with my friends(take advantage of virtual connection)
Some of these goals I’ve had for other years, but this year I really want to accomplish all the goals on my list, and I think that I can really do it!

Professional(Blogging Goals)
- reach 500k monthly viewers on Pinterest
- reach 50k sessions per month on my blog
- focus on my ROI(return on investment)
- come out with a freebie
- reach 1,000 subscribers to my blog
- get a new logo and site theme
Originally, Instagram was on this list, but if you look at item 3 on the list, I now realize that Instagram is not a good thing for ROI, at least not until I get more people to my blog! As for the new logo and site theme, that is already in the works!
How to Set and Achieve YOUR Goals
Enough about me! Now, I’m going to give you actionable tips on how you can set and achieve your goals!
Be realistic
This is probably a big reason most people don’t accomplish their goals…their goals are totally unrealistic! An example: an amatuer like me wanting to be able to climb Mount Everest within 1 year!
There would be no way I could achieve that goal cause that stuff takes years to prepare for! Instead, if I set a more practical goal for myself, it saves me disappointment and makes me happier!
Only have a few
Ever heard of the “jack of all trades” quote? This quote essentially means that it’s better to focus on a few select things rather than everything. Focusing on a few things can help you do a better job.
For example: right now, I’m really focusing on my blog, Pinterest, and my email list. But, if I added on Instagram and Facebook, this would make all aspects of my brand suffer! Similarly, having only a few goals can ensure you accomplishing all of them!
Set a deadline
This tip is REALLY important. Lots of times, people set goals at the very beginning of the year, only to give up by February. Why?
Because there’s no end date in sight. Let’s take my goal of having 50k monthly sessions on my blog: I plan to achieve this goal by August of 2021. So, it gives me time to achieve my goal, while also having a deadline to work to.
The End!
And that’s a wrap! Thank you so much for reading this blog post, and I hope you now have some insight into my goals, and how you can set and achieve goals for yourself! If you liked this post, be sure to subscribe to Ana Health Avenue, as well as check out our other blog posts!
