There are so many posts out there on how to improve your life that make it seem so difficult.
Trust me, it’s not.
With these 5 simple habits, you can turn your life around for the better!
1. Have a Set Sleep Schedule
Sleep is sooooo important. Your body repairs itself and recharges during your sleep, so if you’re not getting enough sleep, it can lead to exhaustion and burnout.
By sleeping 7-9 hours a night, you can make sure that you are getting enough rest! Also, if you can have a set schedule(for example: go to bed by 11 PM and wake up at 7 AM), then that can also help your body repair itself!

2. Practice Self-Care Everyday
This is a big one. Self-care is the practice of taking care of yourself, and it is soooo important.
Acts of self-care can be taking a walk, getting your nails done, or doing a face mask. As long as you’re doing something you love, that’s all that matters!

3. Journal Daily
At first, I used to be skeptical about journaling. But, as I learned more about it, I realized that it can be a powerful tool to improve your emotional health.
Personally, I plan on soon getting the 5 Minute Journal, a journal where you can reflect on your day and includes gratitude lists(thinking about your blessings everyday is a key way to improve your life)!
4. Eat Your Greens!
Seriously, eat your greens!
Eating healthy foods has so many benefits: you feel better on the inside, they’re better for your health long term, and they give you more energy for the day!
Talk to your doctor or even research yourself what healthy foods will work best for your lifestyle!

5. Exercise!
And last but definitely not least, EXERCISE!
To quote the wonderful Elle Woods, “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy…”.
On a serious note, exercising daily increases your strength, endurance and stamina while improving your health over the long run. Also exercise is proven to make you happier and can provide mental clarity.
